The Military plate carriers are made up of different parts and sections. All of them play a huge role in the protection of the soldier. No such part is included that would be useless and acts as extra weight.
All parts are important but one part or an additional specification that is important to discuss is called the MOLLE. The full form of the acronym is “Modular Lightweight Load-Carrying Equipment”
By the name, we can identify the meaning of the acronym. The equipment is used to carry the load while being lightweight. There are rows of nylon on the carrier that are used to attach different types of equipment and pouches to it.
During a war or any kind of a fight, the soldiers require a variable amount of equipment. They can only carry a specific amount of weight with them. Any unnecessary weight can cause them to slow down and waste their energy as well.
The armour which is worn by the army already has a large amount of weight. Although there have been major improvements still carrying multiple pounds of weight, especially on the shoulder can be painful.
.
It has a hydration system, assault pack, and modular pouches which are used to store the miscellaneous items and a large rucksack which is used to store canteen items usually and has a divider to create a balance in the bag as well.
The major important part is the tactical assault panel where the soldier can hold and store extra ammo as well.
